Content is King
Marketers are abandoning traditional marketing tactics for more content. Content that is thoughtful, supported, and relevant. When companies can put out this kind of curated and meaningful content, they can easily position themselves as the thought leaders in their market. Not only does content create leads, consumers and competition can learn from this content and thus increase the value proposition of the company putting out the content.
Videos, Videos, and More Videos
In 2015, we will see even more videos. Videos are not only useful tools for websites, social media, and increased traffic, but they can also be categorized and indexed on hosting platforms like YouTube and Vimeo for increased SEO rankings and more views. Marketers are beginning to see the value of more video just as consumers are beginning to demand it. How-to videos, brand videos, and viral videos are leading the wave of video marketing and we can expect to see more of them in 2015.
