Most of the time, when we want do video marketing, we are looking for it to go viral. Do you know that, going viral should not be the most important factor of the video?
You may have heard how successful certain video has been. The success of the video are typically judged by the number of views. However, views can be easily created just simply by “boosting” it.
However, a successful video marketing campaign smashes your objectives and build up your branding and your social media platforms.
Concentrate on the story, instead of the CTA
As a business owner, we focus so much on the sales and revenue too much some times. Take a step back and ask yourself if you still remember the story of three little pigs? Which most probably you’ll do. But why?
Three little pigs is a common story during our childhood. And because it concentrates on the storytelling so much, we can remember it clearly until many years later. The same applies for your storytelling.
Concentrating on the value you are providing to your customers rather than forcing them to put their money with you. Make the most out of the emotion of the video to appeal to your customers hidden needs and desires.
This way, would you be afraid that you’ll lose a customer? Put your Call-To-Action (CTA) at the end of the video or if you’re posting in social platforms, make full use of the various functions, you’ll be able to draw more qualified leads.
The First 3 Seconds Rule
Do you know? Most of your viewer will scroll pass your video in the first 3 seconds, if you do not engage them? If you successfully hooked on to them for the first 3 seconds, the next 7 seconds is where you set open loops, to let them know, what are they expecting in the video.
This should be renamed as the first 10 seconds in fact. But if you can’t achieve the first 3 seconds, we can forget about the rest. Human have such short attention span nowadays.
This is why, your video should immediately convey what is important at the beginning of the video, then why they should continue to watch the video next. Making use of emotions, should they be laughing? Or inspire them or to learn something new.
Laugh! Human Loves Humour
Face it, people who are on social media platform such as Facebook, are not there for serious matter. Anything that will make them laugh are good video. Don’t you love Mr Bean?
Your audience want to laugh, they want to feel happy using the social media. They want to cheer themselves up after a long day, or just got off bed.
By involving humour, your video will be remembered better by more people. And when people share the joy, you’ll receive more viewership!
Tag. Title. Thumbnail
People choose video not by read most of the time. YouTube doesn’t rank your video properly if you do not tag properly.
Therefore, tagging your video properly is one of the tactics you can use to ensure your videos get found easier in YouTube or Google Search Engine
As for human, we choose video based on the attractiveness of the thumbnail, before reading the title. Fun fact, the title is part of the Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) as well.
So do all these admin work properly, before sharing on your social network platforms, will help greatly in the visibility of your video.
Approximately 65% of the population are visual learners. And the brain processes visual information 60,000 times faster than text. 90% of information that comes to the brain is visual. With all these statistics, using video is the best way to educate your customers on your products.
Without knowledge of anything, human are more likely to be afraid of it. Just like, if we do not know how the dog will react, we will be afraid to get close to it. But if we know the character of the dog, we will be giving affection in no time.
The same goes for your customer. Once they know your product, they become familiar with it. Being familiar with it, they will feel like they’ve known enough to be using it. Make sense isn’t it?
