The Digital Boost Development Grant is available to Scottish businesses that need help with their digital platforms, technology and innovation. The £10 million fund is offered to all sectors across Scotland, and all grants need to be claimed by 28th February 2021. If your application is successful, you will have up to 4 weeks to purchase products and services in order to claim the grant. Businesses must provide receipts and proof of payments to access the funds. VAT registered businesses can claim grants up to £25K and those who are not registered can apply for grants up to £5k.

The maximum per company is £3000. This could be used for web development training. For those who already have a website and online marketing strategy in place, Flexible Training Opportunities could help your employees build confidence in managing the website and using digital tools to market your business online.
Transform Foundation are offering a grant of up to £18,000 to cover strategy, design, build and launch of a mobile optimised website. Included in the package is training in all these areas as well as social media, e-commerce and website management tools. This funding is aimed at organisations with charitable objectives such as raising funds or recruiting volunteers. Commitment to maintaining web development is also an entry requirement. In other words applicants must be fully invested in making digital part of their every day.
Any type of business that falls under the small to medium category can apply (SME’s). There are limited grants and businesses will be approved on a first come first serve basis.
