A snapshot of our PR and digital marketing activity in 2022! – OggaDoon

Here at OggaDoon PR and digital marketing, we wanted to take a look back at some of our international and national client successes in 2022. We have covered health and fitness tech, cyber security, property, crowdfunds, and the food and drink sectors.

By working with such a diverse range of clients, we tailor our marketing services and expertise to meet the needs of their unique businesses. This may include different funding stages, digital platform development based on business maturity and comms requirements; supporting stretched or underdeveloped internal resources or switching from brand-based comms to a growth-focused marketing strategy.

Leos wanted help with their PR and communications in order to raise their brand profile. We applied our expertise to create a brand discovery exercise, create and execute a press outreach to establish Leos as a reputable UK developer, and promote their properties in the national press. In the first three months, we landed eight articles in local and national press including CIN Magazine, Surrey Live, Metro, Observer, Property Wire, Property Investment News, Herts Live, and the Sunday Times.

– Food and Drink Marketing

In just one week, we managed to get three organic articles on three big local press, Bristol Live, Bristol 24/7, and Bristol Business News with a total of 5.9m Monthly Unique Visitors. We created photos and videos of the “croc in the harbour” and gave them to the local influencers to use on social media to create interest. Five nano and micro-influencers were interested in joining the launch party and creating content for the event. We successfully ran a paid ad campaign for Tall Tale Pale Ale on Bristol 24/7 with social amplification for four weeks.

Independent brewing company Strange Times approached us to help them generate PR interest around their upcoming Kickstarter campaign. Strange Times wanted to raise enough money to buy a canning machine, and then gain additional funding for their national expansion and we secured 16 articles across national and trade publications. Throughout their campaign, we raised the Strange Times profile with 160 regional and trade journalists. We also increased the brand’s email open rate to 44.3% compared to an industry average of 21.3%, and its click-through rate to 3.4% compared to an industry average of 2.9%.

Boatyard Boulders approached OggaDoon to do a critical assessment of their digital channels. Having already launched their crowdfunding campaign on. We made recommendations for each of the digital platforms that could be implemented quickly across all channels, during the raise period. We also expressed the importance of fitting with the crowdfunding algorithms, specifically reaching 40%, to boost awareness of the raise to serial investors.
