Adding a Rental Product to ECommerce Store – Deposit – Shopify Community

Hello,

I have an ecommerce store that we sell an game/equipment for kids to commercial clients on Shopify and it has worked great.  We also locally rent the equipment and would like to put the rental sale thru Shopify as well as a product.  We charge a deposit of $100 to hold the equipment and the final amount is charged after the rental which could be weeks later.

Is there a way to charge the deposit on Shopify for $100 (or maybe authorize it) and charge the final sale later on on the same credit card?
