Oscar Mayer is launching bacon-scented shoelaces to accompany the release of Nike’s Air Max 90 Bacon sneakers.
The bacon-scented shoelaces resemble the real deal, featuring white fat against a crinkly backdrop. Now, not only will your sneakers smell like bacon, but they can also look like they have been physically laced with a couple of strips into them.
On top of that, the shoelaces are also scented with actual Oscar Mayer Hardwood Smoked Bacon.
The company, known for its iconic hot dogs, is giving away the laces as part of a sweepstakes, which you can find out more about here.
“There are few things better than the delicious smell of freshly cooked Oscar Mayer Bacon, but you shouldn’t have to turn on the stove to fill your nostrils with the heavenly scent,” said Megan Lang, associated director of Oscar Mayer, in a press release. “We know bacon lovers can’t get enough of it, so we’ve created these bacon-scented laces to give fans the chance to carry their bacon love everywhere, whether they’re styling the hottest new sneakers or sizzling up an old pair of shoes.”
