US Mint Site to Include BEP Line of Collectible Products
The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) and the United States Mint (United States Mint) have formed a tactical alliance to sell BEP numismatic products through the Mint’s e-commerce system starting this fall. This cooperation will provide collectors, gift-givers, and other consumers a better experience and greater range of numismatic coin and currency products.Effective Monday, October 1, 2018, BEP items will be offered for online purchase only through the US Mint’s online shop at catalog.usmint.gov or by calling 1-800-USA-MINT (872-6468). Hearing and speech-impaired customers with TTY equipment might purchase by calling 1-888-321-MINT(6468 ). BEP items will still be readily available at the BEP visitor center gift stores in Washington, DC and Fort Worth, Texas, and select BEP items will be readily available at Mint retail locations in Washington, DC; Philadelphia, PA; and Denver, CO. BEP bulk sales customers should continue to location orders through the BEP at 1-800-456-3408. Please note that BEP online client accounts will not be instantly moved
to the US Mint. BEP consumers are encouraged to set up new accounts on the Mint’s website to make the most of the Mint’s enrollment program, to track purchases of BEP items, and to receive BEP and Mint item and promotion notifications.As of Monday, September 17, 2018, the BEP will no longer accept orders through BEP’s online shop, moneyfactorystore.gov, nor its telephone sales department in preparation for the shift. Messaging to that result will be posted. Starting October 1 at 8:00 a.m.(ET), the moneyfactorystore.gov site will not be accessible, and BEP will reroute online and social networks sales traffic to the Mint’s website.The BEP and Mint are extremely thrilled about this brand-new collaboration and look forward to offering their worldwide clients with an unique choice of items and continued excellence in customer service.Questions regarding this transition or BEP product orders placed prior to September 17, 2018, may be directed to BEP’s Mail Order Sales Department by telephone at 1-800-456-3408.
