CarGurus says it plans for its inaugural user conference to help dealerships address challenges such as digital marketing, strategy and leadership.
Representatives from Carvana and Google will also be presenters at the conference, which is titled, “Navigate” and will take place Oct. 22-23 in Boston at the Hynes Convention Center.
CarGurus says attendees will learn about topics such as the changing face of auto retail, lead management best practices and the future of mobility.
The event will feature keynotes from entrepreneurs Guy Kawasaki and Daymond John. Kawasaki is known as chief evangelist of Canva and also of Apple, as well as a brand ambassador for Mercedes-Benz USA. His keynote presentation will be titled, “The Art of Innovation,” educating attendees on how to create strong brands for their business.
John is founder and chief executive officer of FUBU, a Shark Tank investor, and an entrepreneur and business leader. He will provide attendees with actionable business and life advice in his keynote, titled “Daymond John’s 5 Shark Points.”
“The automotive retail market is ripe for dealerships to harness their entrepreneurial spirits and learn new ways to create successful businesses and satisfied customers,” John said in a news release. “I’m excited be a part of this inaugural event to help attending dealerships accomplish their goals, and I am honored to be among those speakers that will inspire, invigorate and educate the first class of Navigate attendees.”
Chief executive officers and leaders from technology companies such as TripAdvisor, Kronos and Zillow are also among the conference speakers, and they will cover topics such as the importance of transparency, building an organization that employees love and hiring best practices.
