Hackergal is looking for a Digital Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our small but mighty team! We are looking for the next marketing star to take our social media channels to the next level. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Digital Marketing and Communications Coordinator will work on Hackergal’s marketing team to amplify our brand and drive awareness and engagement for our programs. She/he/they will be responsible for coordinating and executing the digital marketing strategy and building awareness and engagement on Hackergal’s online platforms. If you are passionate about changing the technology landscape in Canada and encouraging more young women in computer science, Hackergal would be a great fit for you!

- A passion for our mission to change the technology landscape in Canada and encourage more young women to pursue computer science and STEAM.
- Experience with graphic design and using Canva.
- Experience with WordPress and MailChimp.
- Mission-driven and excited to engage with partners, donors, and community organizations to align on related goals and objectives.
- Experience with communications, social media, and stakeholder relationships, preferably in a not-for-profit or agency environment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, self-starter with high attention to detail.
- Task-oriented, highly organized, with a results-oriented attitude.
- Comfortable prioritizing multiple projects under competing deadlines.
- Goal-oriented individual with the ability to understand a strategic plan and present ideas.
- Comfortable suggesting ideas and strategies to the team, Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to self-edit and manage one’s own work; demonstrated ability to complete a project from start to finish.

- Bilingual (French-English)
