The client is a market leading family run bespoke construction business with over 10,000 completed projects. They are looking for an ambitious and creative graduate to join a passionate team as a Digital Marketing Assistant. This is an exciting job for any determined marketing graduate looking to grow and progress within this field.

Job description for a Digital Marketing Assistant

• Plan, coordinate and create paid media campaigns in a consistent ‘brand voice’ to improve the overall online advertising methods, predominantly using Facebook Ads and Google Ads.
• Assist the team and offer valuable input and ideas when implementing marketing campaigns.
• Plan, build and manage Email Marketing activity, sending out twice-monthly newsletters and setting up email automations when website integrations are in place.
• Monitor, report and analyse marketing activity results to improve website performance, increase customer enquiries and online orders, using tools such as GA4, Google AdWords, Facebook Business Manager, Google Data Studio etc.
• Assist the team in regularly monitoring our SEO performance, conducting audits, and implementing fixes using tools such as SEMRUSH, AHREFS and Google Search Console.
• Conduct keyword research and implement activities/strategies to help improve rankings, generate backlinks to site, and improve overall SEO performance.
• Work with the digital marketing team to help acquire Digital PR opportunities.
• Contribute to creative/marketing team meetings with fresh ideas and observations.
• Keep up to date with current digital marketing trends and provide recommendations for change.

Job Skills required for a Digital Marketing Assistant

• At least 1 year experience within digital marketing
• Experience with SEO and PPC
• Good communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to use own initiative
