myAgro is an award-winning non-profit social enterprise based in West Africa. myAgro has pioneered a mobile savings model that allows farmers to invest their own funds in high-quality seed, fertilizer, and training and increase their harvest and income by 50-100%. myAgro’s North Star is to help 1 million farmers increase their incomes by $1.50 per day by 2025 and lift themselves out of poverty.

Duties

About this Project
Farmers are at the heart of our operation. Audiovisual marketing and communication strategies are key to reach farmers and convey myAgro’s message. We are seeking an exceptional professional with a demonstrated passion for digital marketing and communications. You’ll support the organization’s evolving marketing strategy with the creation of audiovisual content (flyer, poster, videos). It’s a unique opportunity to develop your marketing skills while contributing to an exciting team.

Project Deliverables include:
● Creating and executing audiovisual communication strategies for our product and services.
● Creating visual content like flyers, banners, posters that target specific client segments, e.g. female farmers or maize farmers.
● Create, record, and edit promotional videos that can be used as assets for our social media channels, inbound marketing, and farmer marketing.

About the Fellowship
● Start date: early June, but flexible
● Duration: 8 to 12 weeks
● 20 hours per week
● Unpaid
● Need reliable access to internet and phone

Desired Skills and Competencies:
● Pursuing and/or enrolled in a Graphic Design or Audiovisual Communication program.
● Excellent layout, typography, and iconography skills.
● Computer experience, knowledge including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Publisher, and PowerPoint.
● Proficiency in Adobe applications such as Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
● Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified time frames.
