Digital Marketing Hacks That Will Increase Sales – Baer Performance Marketing

Blog post by: Hadley Vertz, Baer Performance Marketing Intern

Are you struggling to find the right digital marketing tactics to grow your social media accounts? Gaining followers isn’t an easy task, especially for small businesses. Luckily, there are many things you can do to increase your exposure on social media other than posting consistent, quality content. Here are some unique hacks you can use to grow your audience, improve engagement, and ultimately increase leads and sales for your business.

Run a contest or giveaway

Run a contest or giveaway that has to be entered by sharing your social media page(s). If a participant has to share your page to be entered into the contest, they will be exposing your brand to his or her followers and promoting your products/services as well! Everyone likes free things! Just make sure it is easy for followers to enter, or they might grow impatient and not participate.

Use video marketing

Video marketing is on the rise, and your business needs to get used to it. While it can be hard to get in front of a camera and talk about your brand, it needs to be done. Videos have the potential to go viral on all social media platforms when they’re done right. This creates a surge in followers, potentially exposing your company to thousands, if not millions, of people. Videos don’t have to go viral to be effective in your marketing strategy, though. No matter what, videos will expose your page to new people and increase trust in your brand.

Consider utilizing influencer marketing

Influencer marketing is a clever way to reach your target audience without them even knowing it. Influencers are taking over social media, especially Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, so much that they are almost like mini-celebrities to many of their followers. In the same way a celebrity might endorse a brand, influencers can promote products/services for your business. This creates a massive amount of exposure for your brand. When users see their favorite influencer wearing/using your product, they will immediately trust your brand and may even purchase the item. Make sure to choose the right influencers for your brand, though. For example, a makeup company may want to use James Charles, while a dancewear brand should seek out someone more like Maddie Ziegler.
