Duda Receives 2020 Siinda Digital Marketing and Innovation Awards

In-person conferences might be on hold this year, but that doesn’t mean Duda isn’t winning awards! Our team is very proud to announce that Duda recently brought home two coveted 2020 Siinda Digital Marketing and Innovation Awards for “technical or service innovation[s] that helped support SMBs, drive business or open new business channels during the COVID-19 crisis.”

Siinda award submissions in this year’s categories were required to have “had an impact on both the business and the end customers.”


Duda submitted our new specialized eCommerce plans that included a curbside pickup scheduling feature and received a Silver Award in Master Innovation and a Silver Award in Service Innovation.

The Story Behind the Innovation

As COVID-19 emerged as an issue for small businesses around the world, Duda realized our digital agency and SaaS customers/partners would need to expand their eCommerce offering in order to help their SMB customers mitigate the fallout from the global pandemic and transition into a new way of doing business.


To address this need, Duda created free eCommerce plans that included gift cards, 500-product stores, and, most importantly, curbside pickup scheduling. Plans started in April or May are still free of charge until the end of 2020.


Since the inception of Duda’s free eCommerce plan that included curbside pickup, there has been a 5x increase in the number of stores created by Duda partners since March. This corresponded with a significant increase of end customers opting for curbside pickup as opposed to having their orders shipped. 


As of January 2020, curbside pickup accounted for only 5.25% of all eCommerce orders made through Duda online stores. In March, this jumped to a peak of 22.21% of all orders and has remained above its January baseline since.
