Right now Shopify sends an email saying your order is delivered as soon as the first shipment is delivered. With a multi-shipment order this causes customers to freak out thinking that part of their order was lost or stolen.
This is a Shopify bug that Shopify has acknowledged for quite some time, but hasn’t fixed.
We added a generic disclaimer, but that’s of limited help.
Any other ideas on how to work around this major bug in Shopify? This specifically is for Shopify’s “amazon marketplace web” shipments.
