HOMIEZ Training 50 Bahraini families on Digital Marketing

Homiez, Bahrain’s leading e-commerce platform, has launched the initiative of training  50 Bahraini productive families on how to showcase, promote, and sell their products online.

Members of these families will receive training from the platform at its Seef District headquarters that will help them develop their skills and abilities in a variety of e-commerce and digital marketing domains.

In partnership with the Bahrain Development of Small and Medium Enterprises Society, this initiative is carried out by Homiez under the slogan “Digital Transformation” for Productive Families.

This initiative falls under the umbrella of assisting national initiatives to support productive families, guarantee the sustainability of their ventures, and market their products locally and regionally. Along with assisting home-based projects to become start-ups, and SMEs to increase employment opportunities and significantly increase the GDP of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

“Since the project’s debut, the platform has received requests from numerous productive families who wish to take advantage of the various benefits it provides as the first initiative of its kind in Bahrain. These benefits include free enrollment in the Homiez platform as well as theoretical and practical on-the-job training from qualified trainers, and free services for marketing, advertising, and technical assistance.” According to Mr Sadeq Abdulrasool, the Chief Digital Officer of Homiez.

“This program was established after researching the requirements of numerous productive families. Including a survey on the extent of its awareness of digital transformation and e-commerce. After that, we customized the program’s content to meet the needs of families working in this sector.”

According to Mr Abdulrasool, the “digital transformation” program for productive families includes the establishment of a dedicated portal to showcase the products of these families. To serve as a permanent exhibition or market for these items, as well as to reach local markets and seek chances to address regional markets, in a way that helps to the improvement of productive families’ services and the expansion of their production and distribution. He emphasized Homiez’s eagerness to continue developing similar projects and initiatives in support of national efforts in the Kingdom of Bahrain’s digital transformation and knowledge economy growth.
