- Eyes productive partnership
BY COBHAM NSA, ABUJA – Managing Director of Jaiz Bank Plc, Mr Hassan Usman, has assured of the Bank’s commitment to focused and productive partnership that will position Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) as key players in growing the Nigerian economy.
This is as the bank also pledged to continuously expose MSMEs operators to training on digital marketing to boost their businesses and increase their earnings on sustainable basis
Mr Usman said given their role as key stakeholders in growing the economy, Jaiz Bank is connecting with MSMEs in their journey to success, especially in exploring available opportunities to “become big entrepreneurs” in the country.
He told journalists at the digital marketing training and SparkUp Business, organised by the bank for MSMEs operators in Abuja that businessmen and women must always update their knowledge and hone their business skills for competitiveness in the sector.
The Bank chief, who noted that the advent of smart phones and internet has changed the ways businesses are conducted, said Nigerian entrepreneurs cannot afford to lack behind if they must remain relevant and be an active part of the ever-expanding business world.
According to him, “Things are changing business and we need to constantly update our knowledge of current trends in business.
“Digital marketing is a world of its own and we need to know this and improve our knowledge. We have to get prepared and seize the numerous opportunities in digital marketing.”
On the way forward, the Managing Director said; “We have to be proactive and take our businesses beyond the physical; we should take it to the digital world and get connected to the whole world via the internet.
“This is why we organised this training today for our customers who are into MSMEs, to boost their businesses and improve their earnings.”
He said the MSMEs have great potential that must be effectively harnessed and exploited for the overall good and growth of the nation’s economy, adding that Jaiz Bank is fully committed to be an integral part of the success story.
