OSHAWA GENERALS: DIGITAL MARKETING COORDINATOR
The Oshawa Generals Hockey Club is looking for an enthusiastic individual with a passion for hockey, digital media and graphic design that is interested in gaining experience within the marketing and sports industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for in-house designs such as digital advertisements, website graphics, videos and motion graphics, scoreboard graphics, and print materials. They will also improve their skills, have the opportunity to develop and execute their own ideas, develop contacts in the sports industry, and experience a professional sports setting.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Ensuring a consistent and appropriate look for all Generals projects
• Executing projects from conception through production
• Collaboratively working with staff members to develop ideas
• Print materials such as posters, flyers, brochures, tickets, programs, etc.
• Web design content
• Social Graphics
• Videos and Film
• Motion Graphics
• Sponsor graphic content
• Building and sending e-newsletters
• Preparing game day content for the scoreboard
• Other duties, task, and special projects as requested

SKILLS:

• Must have a background in graphic design or multi media design
  (A graduate of a design program with a focus on digital media is a MUST)
• Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite including but not limited to:
  • Photoshop
  • Illustrator
  • InDesign
  • Lightroom
  • Premiere Pro
  • After Effects
• Strong knowledge of file set-up and preparation
• Strong knowledge of basic computer operations such as file storage, proper maintenance and function
• Knowledge or background with IT and computer technologies is an asset
• Knowledge of platforms such as WordPress, Google Analytics, MailChimp and Hootsuite is an asset
• Strong talent and flare for design
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently with great time management skills
• Team player with positive attitude and enthusiasm
• Ability to generate and implement creative ideas
