Each festive season, KFC attempts to steal the thunder of the turkey by rolling out fried chicken-scented fire logs, and they sell like hotcakes without fail.
This year, however, the fire logs evoking whiffs of Colonel Sanders’ secret recipe of 11 herbs and spices will be taking the backburner, quite literally. The eco-friendly firewood substitutes now set the mood for an all-new Kentucky Fried Chicken Firelog Cabin that comfortably sleeps eight.
KFC Bucket lamp posts line the entrance of this luxury accommodation, which is decorated with Colonel Sanders-fronted accents, including a—yikes—“Colonel Bearskin rug” by the fried chicken-scented indoor fireplace, says KFC.
The 7,000 sq ft cabin consists of four bedrooms, multiple open living room areas, a built-in bar, a theater room, a kitchen and dining area, an outdoor kitchen, a pool, and a hot tub.

To crisp up the experience, KFC’s Head Chef Chris Scott will cook up a private five-course dinner, where KFC’s iconic mains and sides will be transformed into gourmet delights like a Finger Lickin’ Good Charcuterie; The OG Original Recipe Chicken Roulade; and Sweet, Southern & Sticky Toffee Pudding.
To wing a three-day, two-night getaway at the vacation spot, hopeful guests can scan the unique QR code on the packaging of the latest KFC Firelogs, or install the KFC ordering app before December 31, which is free. More details of the terms can be found here.
If you’re more of a homebody, you can still warm up your home with the familiar aroma of KFC fried chicken, as the chain has brought the fire logs back with an “enhanced extra crispy scent to fill your home with the aroma of KFC’s world-famous fried chicken.”

The indoor fire starters, produced by Enviro-Log, are made from 100% recycled wax cardboard and are good for 2.5 to three hours. They’re exclusively available on Walmart for US$15.88.
