After a long day of walking, your footwear deserves a break too. LG Electronics brings the notion of self-care to sneaker care with the Styler ShoeCase plus ‘ShoeCare’ technology, which is a shoe cabinet, display, and footwear-pampering service all rolled into one.
Introduced at IFA 2022 alongside air-purifying furniture, the system acknowledges the love and care that sneakerheads of the MZ generation—that is, millennials and Gen Z—pour into their collections. LG takes shoe management a literal step further by helping to refresh and clean those high-maintenance boots while they rest.
At its core, the LG Styler ShoeCase is a space-friendly, transparent storage unit designed to flaunt your sneakers—its name sounds like “showcase,” after all. Not only that, but its panels also form the ideal environment for shoe storage with their ultraviolet light absorber, which prevent prized kicks from discoloration caused by exposure to sunlight or fluorescent lighting.

Plus, what’s the point of collecting sneakers if they can’t have their moment to shine? Hypebeasts will appreciate the ShoeCase’s turntable which can be rotated 360 degrees to show off their sneakers’ best sides. And when your collection grows, you’ll also be able to stack the ShoeCase with as many as four boxes.
In their displays, the shoes can be waited on hand and foot—using the compatible ThinQ smartphone app, human butlers will be able to remotely control aftercare for their sneakers as well as monitor them. In time, LG will even grow this array of services in partnership with other lifestyle brands.
The app brings access to controls for ShoeCare technology, including the hygiene-enhancing ‘TrueSteam’ treatment, which is able to refresh up to 10 types of footwear such as leather work shoes, suede designs, and sports sneakers.
A ‘Zeo-Dry’ filter wicks moisture and eliminates odors thanks to a dehumidifying and deodorizing mineral called zeolite. And after all that, a moving nozzle can be used to dry out the footwear’s insides.
