We are so excited to have Danielle join us this summer to build our digital marketing presence! Let’s take a minute to learn a little bit more about Danielle, most importantly, her favorite dessert because this office doesn’t shy away from anything sweet!
So, where do you go to school? Northwestern University in Evanston, IL
And what are you studying? Journalism and Environmental Science
What made you want to work at the Indianapolis Cultural Trail? As a journalism student, I love creating all kinds of content, whether written, graphic, video, photo, or anything else. I also love exploring the outdoors, staying active, and photographing plants, so it seemed like a great fit!
What are you looking forward to most about your internship? Exploring downtown Indy more and creating fun and useful content to show how neat the Cultural Trail and Pacers Bikeshare are!
How were your first 2 weeks? Great! I only got lost twice, and I’ve gotten to see several cool places downtown that are unique to only Indianapolis.
What do you like to do in your free time? I just got a camera, so I’ve been photographing my neighborhood plants and animals and exploring local nature preserves lately. Otherwise, I’m probably walking or playing with my dogs!
What else do you plan on doing this summer? I want to visit more of Indiana’s forests and state parks before I go back to school.
