We have a new teammate! We recently hired Allie to be our Digital Marketing Specialist. She’s pretty cool and we’re excited to have her here. Here are a few quick things to know about Allie.
What drew you to this role?
This is a huge opportunity for me to learn and grow within the industry. I’ve had a lot of interest in marketing and advertising for a long time and I finally have the chance to dive in!
What are you the most eager to learn about digital marketing?
I’m eager to be a part of a career where I can constantly adapt, learn and help people. Technology is ever-changing, and having a virtual presence is essential in business. Some people grew up with technology (Gen Z’s, I’m talking about you!), but many people didn’t.
People don’t always know the proper virtual ways to make a positive impact. When we work with businesses to create their strategies, we’re helping them evolve and meet modern digital marketing requirements.
You’re pretty new to the job, but what have you found most interesting so far?
It seems like it takes .03 seconds for Google to find answers to your questions, but there’s a whole bunch of cool science wizardry to make that happen. It’s been extremely fascinating to learn how things work behind the scenes!
We all know that when we ‘Google’ something, stuff needs to happen to give you some kind of answer. Learning the stuff that goes into making our lives that much easier, smarter, more efficient, etc. is overwhelmingly incredible.
There’s more to life than marketing (I guess…). What are some of your non-work interests?
Currently, non-work items include:
- Wedding planning
- Traveling
- Spending time outdoors as much as I can before we have a TON of snow
- Waiting for Halloween
- Fall things (HOT COCOA AND APPLE CIDER DAYS ARE HERE – super basic, I know)
- Beekeeping
- Reading
- Cooking
- Baking
- Creating
- Crafting
- Painting
- Drawing
- Eating non-dairy ice cream like it’s going out of style
- Binge-watching Netflix (Yes, even the B-list horror movies)
- Begging my fiance for a puppy (Wish me luck)
