Feeling stumped? Sometimes, you’ll have to venture out of the usual creative briefs to start thinking innovatively again, and this game offers you a chance to do just that in order to recharge while being kept within four walls.
The team who made design thinking game make it pop has launched a new design challenge generator called Not Safe for Design, which issues unconventional creative prompts to help your mind get out of the safe, boring zone.
At the click of a button, you’ll be shown a trio of black, red, and blue cards. The black card shows what the imaginary client expects, the red one tells you who is engaging your services, and the blue card shares what the client likes or doesn’t like.
The challenges are truly unexpected, which is a good thing. You might be asked to create “luxury toilet paper” for “a company that sells photosynthesis,” or “branded contraceptive” for “a dating site for amateur wrestlers.”
The prompts are always fairly NSFW, and make for an interesting solution to getting over your creative block during this confusing time. Give Not Safe for Design a go here.
