A couple from New York got hitched on a tiny street in Manhattan by their friend, who officiated the wedding by peering over his fourth-story windows.

The pair, Reilly Jennings and Amanda Wheeler, officially tied the knot by their friend Matt Wilson, a licensed marriage officiant, per CNN.

The two were not able to get married on Friday, although they had attained a marriage license, as Mayor Bill de Blasio had closed the New York City Marriage Bureau to manage the spread of COVID-19.

The pair then decided to text Wilson to marry them by his window. “[Want to] marry us outside your window in the next 24 hours?” they wrote. Even better, Wilson told them he could do that in the next 90 minutes.

They then went under their friend’s apartment on the streets of NYC to become one for eternity.
