Pan-African Firm Launches Africa’s First Digital Marketing Skills Audit – Taarifa Rwanda

In this era where digital technology drives brand marketing and communications activities, development of relevant skills is increasingly becoming a key priority.

Understandably though, digital marketing and communications skills have been lagging behind the rapid developments of digital technologies the world over.

Africa is no exception.

Pan-African digital marketing consultancy eNitiate Integrated Solutions, founded by Bra Willy Seyama over a decade ago, has identified both the challenge – and the solution: the establishment and ongoing review of digital marketing and communications skill benchmarks, starting with the determination of existing digital skills gap.

eNitiate has thus launched Africa’s first Digital Marketing Skills in Africa Audit 2020 (DMSAA2020)to assess the current skill levels on the continent.

This inaugural edition is supported by Marketing Association of South Africa (MASA) and Social Media Week Lagos (SMWLagos), and it is championed by three African countries: Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa.

The audit – in the form of an online survey, targets professionals in the digital marketing and communications community across the continent, and aims to have 10 000 respondents participating in the 2020 edition.

The online survey is now live, until 31 January 2020. Ten vital digital marketing skills are assessed in this edition, and a comprehensive report will be published by 31 March of 2020.

Qualifying participants can access the online survey on http://bit.ly/dmsaa-2020The survey is in both English and French.

Information about the initiative can be found on the official Website: http://bit.ly/dmsaa-site.

The Website content is translatable into 16 languages. In addition to English and French, the balance of the languages includes Arabic, Kiswahili, Hausa, Afrikaans and 10 most popular local languages spread across the continent
