The world’s dry spell from physical contact has forced Pornhub to explore untouched regions, and it previously remastered century-old films with the help of AI to please a new era. It seems that there’s more to swallow, as the adult content platform is once again providing history classes, albeit in a classier manner. As classy as Pornhub can be, that is.
With cultural institutions opening up, the website is delving into the world’s most prominent fine art museums and displaying their collections’ naughtiest masterpieces, imploring the observer to reinterpret artwork under a new filthy lens. The interactive Classic Nudes guide showcases art from France’s Louvre and Musee d’Orsay, New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, Spain’s Prado, Italy’s Uffizi Gallery, and the UK’s British Museum like you’ve never experienced them before.
“Pornhub wanted to do its part in stimulating the public to visit, explore and fall back in love (or lust) with these cultural institutions,” the platform details in a press release.
Sans more conservative pieces, visitors are walked straight to artistic imaginations of the naked body collected by the six museums. They can navigate individual museums, follow a map, or have the orator Asa Akira educate them with an “oral history” of 30 curated erotic artworks.
Amateur content creator couple MySweetApple has also reimagined six renowned artworks in real life, namely Jan Gossaert’s Adam and Eve, Edgar Degas’ Male Nude, Gustave Courbet’s The Origin of the World, Francisco de Goya’s The Naked Maja, Titian’s Venus of Urbino, and François Boucher’s The Brunette Odalisque.
