Onward NRV promoted NRV tech jobs through a digital marketing campaign during the month of November. During the campaign, Onward specifically marketed to individuals living within a fifty-mile radius of the NRV. This was done with the goal of promoting available tech jobs to college students at Virginia Tech, Radford University, and New River Community College who would consider living and working in the region after graduation.
Onward NRV’s “Tech Jobs” and “Tech in the NRV” videos were promoted on the Virginia’s New River Valley social media platforms and YouTube channel.
Here are the results of the month-long campaign:
- Campaign posts reached 679,170 people a total of 1.13 million times
- The featured videos were viewed 306,931 times
- 124,411 people engaged with the campaign content, with 124,411 clicking on a post or video and 1,050 liking, sharing, or commenting on a post or video
- 2,008 people visited TheNRV.org/techjobs
This digital marketing campaign was part of Onward NRV’s efforts to attract and retain talent in Virginia’s New River Valley.
