Tiffany & Co Designs ‘Participation Trophies’ For Less-Than-Winners With MSCHF – Corporate B2B Sales & Digital Marketing Agency in Cardiff covering UK

Tiffany & Co has been the designer of trophies for numerous major sporting events, matching athletic excellence with its standards of perfection. Evading its peripherals, however, are the other players responsible for pushing winners into the top ranks.

At long last, the jeweler is recognizing those pacing behind with a participation trophy. Bear in mind, though, that this isn’t like the subpar plastic token prizes handed out in school—it’s a Tiffany & Co ‘Ultimate Participation Trophy’, reserved for the very best contenders for okay. As detailed by , the sculpture is handcrafted from sterling silver and stainless steel, while Vermont white marble and felted wool form its base.

The trophies were created alongside MSCHF, the same art pranksters behind the notorious ‘Satan Shoes’ that provoked a lawsuit with Nike, among other satire-heavy releases.

Participation trophies—or, at least, the idea of them—are very much celebrated in The Office. Michael Scott hands out the self-initiated Dundie Awards each year to employees for things like having the whitest sneakers and most likely to stink up the bathroom (the “Don’t Go in There After Me” award, as he calls it).

So anyone, maybe even champions, should be honored to receive this Tiffany Blue powder-coated trophy that artisans toiled 34 hours over using traditional silversmithing techniques at the Tiffany hollowware workshop in Cumberland, Rhode Island.

Plus, it’s all wrapped in a pretty MSCHF x Tiffany & Co box with a bow, no less.

With that being said, you can’t have participants in a contest without actual winners. The first three buyers will be handed sculptures engraved with 1st Place, 2nd Place, and 3rd Place titles respectively, while everyone else who took part will be sent The Ultimate Participation Trophy. In total, there are 100 trophies for the taking.

What does it take to compete? Well, money. Each trophy is priced at US$1,000. “Those who can’t play, pay!” dictates the MSCHF x Tiffany & Co website.

Collectors will have to race for one of the 100 limited trophies when the store opens for purchases at 11am ET on May 5.
