Tonaton.com, Ghana’s largest market place has signed an agreement with global courier and logistics company DHL, to carry out deliveries for its ecommerce service also known as Buy Now.
The agreement which has already commenced will see DHL deliver to Tonaton customers in Accra and also in outstations like Kumasi, Tema, Takoradi and Cape Coast with the possibility of expanding to other cities in the country.
Uriel Marquaye, Head of Tonaton Marketplace noted in an interview that the agreement with DHL represents a milestone in their operations which will lead to greater efficiency in its and improve the user experience for Tonaton Customers.
“The Tonaton – DHL Partnership, will propel our ecommerce process to a greater efficiency and brand recognition in Ghana. Tonaton delivery charges will be one of the best in the country and buyers will experience an exceptional shopping value”.
In another development, Tonaton has been awarded for its role in growing the ecommerce industry in Ghana and helping Ghanaian businesses and small and medium scale enterprises to reach a wider audience thereby growing their businesses.
At the recent Ghana Business and Financial Services Excellence Awards held in Accra over the weekend Tonaton was named the Silver Excellence Award winner for its sterling contribution to the growth of online transactions in Ghana
Receiving the award, Zubair Riaz, Magaing Director of Tonaton.com reiterated Tonaton.com’s mission which is to help create sustainable value for the community.
