Welcome back to our Team Highlight! Today, meet Trina, who is a remote team member out of Norfolk, Virginia.
Could you describe your role/what you do?
I manage events throughout the company and assist in building networking events in local markets. I also work with the branding team to help build the brand/maintain brand standards company-wide.
What is the one thing that you wish other people knew about the work you do?
That it is a very time-sensitive role that requires a lot of “putting out fires” and pivoting at the last minute (due to cancellations, shipping delays, etc.) Patience and understanding go a long way.
Outside of work, what do you enjoy doing? What are some of your hobbies?
I am an ADHD Advocate and I spend my downtime working to educate and empower ADHD Women. I also paint watercolor and spend an abnormal amount of time playing fetch with my dog, Yoshi.
If you could have dinner with any famous person, alive or dead, who would it be and why?
Eckhart Tolle – he teaches about the power of the present moment and the importance of mindset. I’ve read every book that he’s written and listened to just about every speech, but it would be an honor to have a meal with him to learn from him.
If you could have a superpower, what would you want and why?
I would want the power to change others’ hearts – so that as a collective we could clean the planet and do a better job taking care of one another. So, maybe the power to motivate others in ways that really matter.
