With so
many people online, digital marketing is more important than ever. Things like
King Kong SEO reviews and the like are considered as profitable ventures and
worthy endeavours, as recently noted by the upsurge in investments in digital
marketing.
One
beneficiary is UK firm Croud, which recently secured £30mn in minority
investment from LDC, a mid-market private equity firm.
Croud has offices in London, New York, Shrewsbury, and Sydney, where they use their proprietary tech to support the planning, automation, and implementation of digital marketing projects by clients, which they scale via their network of 2,400 specialists spread across the world. The company has clients like Vans, AXA, Virgin Trains, and the AA, among others.
In its last
financial year, Croud managed to generate revenue of £15.4, which it is using
to expand its operations across the US, managing to snag major clients like
Audible, and The Athletic.
LDC is
backing Croud’s management team; co-founders Luke Smith and Ben Knight, and
will be helping the firm build on its current operations in the UK and across
the world. The partnership will also include support for further developments
to Croud’s proprietary technology, as well as the expansion of its service
offerings.
Luke Smith
spoke on the recently formed partnership, saying that they’re delighted to
announce this new business relationship. This, he says, is the culmination of
the work, dedication, and brilliance of their team, all of whom are
stakeholders in Croud, and will also reap the benefits of their success.
LDC Director David Andrews says that Croud built a unique offering that is making its mark on a fast-growing and fluctuating sector, with all of its King Kong SEO reviews and the like. Its crowd-sourced and tech-enabled model, he says, has proven itself as reliable, and exceptional, via their faster, more efficient, and cost-effective resources. This, combined with Croud’s ambitious team, is perfect for growth.
He adds
that they’ll be backing the management team’s vision and ideas, and that
they’re excited at the chance to support Croud as the digital marketing firm
moves forward onto the next step of their operations.
