**Director, Digital Marketing – Princeton, New Jersey**

SUN Pharma is looking for a passionate and innovative digital marketer to build and design our digital capabilities and interact with multiple Business Units across the branded organization. This is a newly created role, reporting into the Business Unit leader directly. This person will not only have the responsibility for all digital marketing responsibilities for ILUMYA but will also synergize with other brands across multiple business units. He/she will work in a highly matrixed environment, navigate a sometimes ambiguous workplace, and be the first Digital Marketing expert within the organization.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who will develop and drive the organization’s digital marketing strategy, plans and technology infrastructure to develop Consumer and HCP communications across all digital channels. He/she will identify long-term process needs of the marketing team and develop a multi-channel plan to address these.

Desired attributes include strong quantitative analytics background with experience directly overseeing digital media campaigns, such as Display, SEM/SEO, Paid Social, Online Video, AdServing and Addressable TV.

**Specific Responsibilities:**

+ Lead the execution of a digital marketing strategy that captures audience needs and behaviors, identifies market opportunities and draws upon deep knowledge of emerging technologies, digital trends and competitive analysis of our peers

+ Be the internal “center of excellence” as it relates to innovative technology platforms and digital media programs, guiding the organization through best practices and efficient implementation

+ Collaborate closely with external agency partners and internal stakeholders on media spending levels, channel allocations, and campaign optimizations to most effectively reach our target audience

+ Optimize marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media, display and search advertising using web analytics tools

+ Ensure strategic and tactical alignment of all digital marketing activities into the broader branded commercialization efforts

+ Utilize multiple sources of information (market research, advocacy groups, online influencers) to uncover insights relevant to the development of strategy and tactical plans

+ Set monthly performance targets and deliver presentations to a range of internal and external audiences including senior leadership

+ Ensure digital marketing materials and all messaging follows through medical, regulatory and legal requirements

+ Provides digital expertise into the ongoing evolution of customer model by working with business/brand leads on critical business priorities

+ Maintains view of the competitive landscape and has a broad perspective across Sun and the pharma industry to identify and drive best practice around digital expertise

+ Drives innovation culture and coordinates with marketing leads to develop new digital tactics that drive leads

**Preferred Experience, Special Skills, Knowledge:**

+ BA/BS required; MBA/MS preferred

+ **10+ years of digital marketing experience is required**

+ **5+ years in the pharmaceutical industry is required**

+ Dermatology experience is preferred, but not required

+ Blend of both biotech/pharma and consumer marketing experience is preferred

+ **Prior experience with paid digital media planning, strategy and execution**

+ Proven ability to demonstrate experience in designing and implementing successful digital marketing campaigns (lead generation funnels, promotional strategies and patient journeys)

+ Demonstrated understanding of pharmaceutical legal, regulatory and compliance requirements and their impact on development of marketing strategy and materials
