The Demand Generation team relies on the planning, development and execution of targeted campaigns to achieve business and marketing objectives such as generating new leads, facilitating account expansion, building brand engagement and awareness, etc., to fuel sales pipeline growth. The Digital Marketing Coordinator’s role on the Blackhawk Network Demand Generation team is to help leverage digital marketing channels to maximize efficiency of each campaign.
The Digital Marketing Specialist will execute on digital strategies for each campaign, building various digital media assets. This role will help Blackhawk Network manage day-to-day execution of campaigns through digital media and other interactive channels.
The ideal candidate has a passion for digital marketing, and is focused on direct response through omnichannel marketing channels. S/he successfully collaborates in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, focusing on each campaign’s success.
+ Managing the development of digital assets including banners and landing pages geared toward achieving the larger digital strategy
+ Lead the day-to-day tracking and optimization of digital media campaigns aimed at strategic verticals as well as evergreen product categories
+ Work alongside the Social Media Manager to help amplify social efforts and expand the reach through paid social placements
+ Collaborating with the campaign managers, copywriters, designers and others as necessary to complete each campaign
+ Help shape and evangelize Blackhawk Network campaign standards by developing and optimizing lightweight, repeatable processes, workflows and templates that keep the team nimble and successful
+ B.A. in Advertising or B.S. in Marketing, business or related field
+ 2+ years integrated marketing campaign experience, preferably within the B2B space
+ Working knowledge of these core demand generation channels: email marketing, content marketing, digital marketing, experiential marketing and lead generation fundamentals, PR, social media
+ Demonstrated success in executing B2B marketing campaigns to achieve business goals
+ Excellent communication skills, highly organized and efficient at project management
+ A successful collaborator adept at working across multiple mediums – in person, on conference/video calls, email, chat. Ideally is experienced using team collaboration tools such as Trello, Asana, Monday, etc
+ Experience working with design teams and an understanding of design best practices for digital marketing
+ Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
