10/31/19 — Live Action: Digital Marketing Director

Reports to:  Chief Operations Manager

The Digital Marketing Director (DMD) is responsible for implementing and managing Live Action’s digital marketing campaigns and objectives. Working closely with leadership and the communications team the DMD’s efforts drive brand awareness, engagement, activism, and support fundraising goals. Success for this role will ultimately be determined by their ability to market online campaigns to help transform public opinion on abortion through online education.  The DMD is a results-driven marketing expert who is on the cutting edge of digital media and industry best practices.

The DMD’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop, plan, and implement a data-driven digital marketing strategy.
  • Identify and manage metrics and KPI’s to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage, train, and develop the digital marketing team.
  • Increase brand awareness across all channels and develop appropriate metrics for reporting.
  • Manage and maintain unified messaging and brand across all platforms and departments.
  • Track and report on SEO and Google Analytics data to make in-depth analysis.
  • Ensure relevant, best-in-class content is curated and distributed across all appropriate platforms.
  • Management and reporting of all digital advertising spend and ROI.
  • Oversee all Live Action social media accounts and posts.
  • Drive web traffic and conversions to all Live Action properties including the Live Action store and Live Action News site.
  • Collaborate with the Development (Fundraising) team to help manage digital fundraising campaigns.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of different marketing channels including social, SEO and email.
  • Expertise in all major business software applications (Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, etc.). Hubspot experience a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing.
  • 7+ years in a management role.
  • Experience managing advertising agency partners.
  • Experience managing large ad buys.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • A deep interest in, understanding and commitment to the pro-life movement.
