Heather Pressler, PhD, has started a new web design and digital marketing agency headquartered in Falls Church, VA. The transition comes on the heels of Capital Practice Consulting’s 6th anniversary of being in business in the Washington, DC metro area. CPC was one of the area’s leading providers of digital advertising, website design, and other online marketing services for healthcare, legal, construction, real estate and other professionals.
The move to start BlueHuki marketing began when Heather Pressler, co-founder of Capital Practice Consulting, had a new vision for the need for marketing beyond healthcare and was spurred by the changing needs of other business partners.
Dr. Pressler started from humble beginnings as a self-taught HTML web designer, early Facebook adopter, MIT grad and scientist to curating a large team of digital marketing professionals delivering results for clients in the healthcare space and beyond.
The origins of BlueHuki Group – Dr. Pressler was born and raised in Honolulu, HI. Huki is a Hawaiian word that describes the movement of an oar propelling a boat forward in the water. Huki also comes from the legend of Maui pulling the Hawaiian islands from the blue abyss into existence.
In marketing, BlueHuki helps businesses emerge from the abyss online and propels them forward.
