Con/Expo Seminars: Social Media/eMarketing Track – RVBusiness – Breaking RV Industry News

Sponsored by the National RV Dealers Association (RVDA), RVDA of Canada, and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center, the 2019 RV Dealers Convention/Expo takes place Nov. 11-15 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. In addition to discovering new products and services in the Expo Hall, meeting manufacturer, supplier and vendor partners, and networking with other attendees, dealers and their professional staff have the opportunity to attend dozens of educational seminars and workshops.

Among the six distinct seminar tracks are workshops designed for social media and eMarketing professionals. Presenters in this track will help dealership leaders and staff to understand the potential, limitations, and best practices in social media, eMarketing and BDC from leading professionals in the field. A sampling of the Social Media/eMarketing track is as follows:

“The Reason Why Your Google Reviews Are Making or Breaking Your Dealership”

In this workshop, Graham Anderson of Kenect will explain how online reviews have become increasingly more important as word-of-mouth marketing is giving way to an online review-based economy, and offer best practices for generating 5-star reviews.

• “Brand Yourself: Four Secrets of Brilliant Branding”

Branding is key to capturing customers, growing market share and engaging your workforce, and Gabrielle and Brian Bosché of The Millennial Solution will reveal the four scalable secrets to effective branding.

• “Facebook M.D.: Prescribing Messages for Your Customers through Facebook & Instagram”

Presenter Lindsay Shearon of Dealer OMG will help aendees gain an understanding of how to identify their customer base among the millions of social media users through a combination of third-party data warehouses, Facebook users’ behaviors and interests, and their own CRM.

• “Voice and Video…Learn the Secrets”

As video has taken over the majority of consumer content consumption — think YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and all the others — Ron Wheeler of Wheeler Advertising will explain how a dealership must prepare itself quickly for the power of voice search and the continued growth of video marketing.

• “What Is Your Lead Handling Process Costing You?”

Meaghan Cooper of Dealership Toolkit will demonstrate how a lead — not only Internet leads but leads are generated in any format — should be handled from the initial stages to the final stages of the customer’s buying cycle.
