Grand Hyatt Unveils The First-Ever Takashi Murakami-Designed Hotel Room – Corporate B2B Sales & Digital Marketing Agency in Cardiff covering UK

With their present reputation as quarantine facilities, hotel rooms might be perceived as gloomy and isolated places—but not the one designed by Takashi Murakami. The Japanese contemporary artist has already brightened up a hospital room, and his latest project sees him sprinkling a hotel suite with his ever-optimistic flowers.

The multi-room suite, located at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo, is described as the “world’s first” hotel room to be designed by the artist. Here in the Chairman Suite, Murakami’s touch can be seen everywhere—from the walls to the rugs and even the bathroom.

By the window in the living room, you’ll find a standing 1.95m (6.4ft) gold Flower Parent and Child sculpture. A spherical Flowerball Rug livens up the floor, while three sculptures constructed with Murakami flower plushies accentuate the front of the television.

Even the eats embody Murakami’s smiling flowers. A colorful dessert box, served with champagne, is stamped with their faces. The hotel’s Fiorentina Pastry Boutique serves flower cookies and bread, too.

Guests will be tickled by the posters put up on the walls of the bathroom, which include an illustration of a floral figure trying to poop.

They might also dream of being in a world not too far from Alice in Wonderland as they cuddle the whimsical 1.8m (6ft) Flower Parent and Child soft toy in bed.

The quirky package includes a gourmet dinner, as well as a signed art book, an exclusive mask, and a mug. Guests can also opt to get a themed manicure at an additional fee. Reservations, however, are limited to one booking per day.
