How to build an email list for your business – Singapore Digital Marketing Consultant

The answer to that question is deceptively simple…

If you want to build a successful email list, you need to offer something that your target audience actually wants.

This can be anything from a helpful ebook to an exclusive discount code. As long as it’s something that your niche would be interested in, you’re sure to get people subscribing.

Once you have a good lead magnet (what you give in exchange for people subscribing), the rest is easy. People will be so eager to get their hands on it that they’ll practically sign up for your email list on their own.

So if you’re struggling to get people to subscribe, take a look at what you’re offering and make sure it’s something that people in your niche would actually want.

Now that you have set up your lead magnet, it’s time to start promoting it.

Get the word out there by emailing your customers, friends, and colleagues with the option to share.

You can also post about it on LinkedIn and run some Facebook and Google ads.

Keep track of your cost per opt-in so you can see how effective your campaign is.

Test your ads and landing page regularly and make changes to improve your conversion rate. Remember, the more effort you put into this, the better your results will be.

P.S. You don’t need a huge email list to have a successful business – especially if you’re catering to a specific niche.

With that being said, answer these two questions: First, how much revenue does each customer bring in?

Second, how many customers do you need to reach your revenue goal?

For example, let’s say you make $1,000 per client and you want to add an extra $5,000 to your business from an email marketing campaign. You can reverse-engineer your email stats to figure out how many people you need.

For example, if your email marketing campaign converts 1% of subscribers into clients, you only need 100 email subscribers.

If your campaign converts 2% of subscribers into clients, you only need 50 email subscribers.

Obviously, your results may vary, and I cannot guarantee success because I don’t know your specific situation. But you can see how the numbers can work in your favor.
