(USA) Communications Specialist – Digital Marketing

POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Manager of Digital Marketing & Web Services, the Digital Marketing Communications Specialist is part of the larger Marketing and Communications group. The Communications Specialist is responsible for content development and management, as well as digital marketing execution and publishing operations .

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Responsible for the creation and delivery of content for NuScalePower.com, marketing emails and other digital communications channels as needed.

+ Establish a detailed content roadmap and editorial calendar to keep our experiences fresh.

+ Lead integration across digital channels to create a cohesive user journey.

+ Coordinate with internal partners to personalize experiences for global audiences.

+ Assist in the creation, deployment and management of digital assets.

+ Provide digital support for marketing campaigns.

+ Expand and maintain our digital marketing playbook.

+ Work with internal communications teams to develop and maintain a content style guide.

+ Manage quality assurance on all web properties and coordinate updates with relevant departments.

+ Leverage analytics and A/B testing capabilities to improve marketing strategies and report KPIs.

+ Assist with online advertising, social media management, event promotions, email deployment, and in identifying online marketing opportunities as needed.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.

+ Safety and security : Observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.

+ Quality Assurance : Demonstrates understanding and implementation of quality assurance regulations, standards and guidelines of 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.

MINIMUM SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES :

+ Education : A Bachelor’s degree in applicable field is preferred.

+ Experience : Minimum of 3+ years of full-time, related experience is required. Proficiency in developing sharp, convincing messages for diverse audiences on complex matters, sometimes with significant scientific content is required. Additional required and preferred experience is as follows:

+ Experience using enterprise content management systems and/or other digital content platforms required

+ Project management skills and experience, including managing the work of outside consultants, ability to work independently, be self-driven and maintain communications with NuScale Power’s management and staff while working from various locations required

+ Must have experience working within a matrix organization with high-performing teams in multiple locations

+ Experience with website, email, social media or other analytics is preferred

+ Experience with email marketing and privacy regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM), and website accessibility guidelines (WCAG) is preferred

+ Preference will be given to candidates with experience and knowledge of nuclear or energy policy/regulations is preferred

+ Industry Requirements : Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810.
