Senior Director, Content and Digital Marketing Status: Exempt (Salaried) Type: Full Time Department: Marketing Location: Remote (East Coast) Reporting to: Chief Marketing Officer Position Summary Hydrogen is the molecule of the green energy revolution, a molecule that completes the renewable energy architecture. In this critical role, you will do what it takes to build out the green hydrogen category. You will position the company, products and solutions, own content and the marketing technology stack required to deliver it, and support go-to-market efforts. You will bring deep experience in brand building, hands-on operational expertise and strategic thinking. Leading with creative mindset and a scientific approach, you will strengthen the Plug brand while working closely with marketing and communications team members to produce compelling messaging and design solutions. Core Duties and Responsibilities Build out the Plug brand. Expand brand narrative and develop corporate messaging. Bring Plug products to market, driving the understanding and positioning of solutions in a competitive landscape. Drive Plug’s strong and singular visual identity ensuring integrity of the Plug brand. Lead and shape the future of design and content team. Work closely with product marketing to define and create compelling content spanning digital and traditional media to drive traffic, engagement and leads that deliver sales and customer retention. Deliver integrated data driven acquisition strategy designed to nurture customer through the sales funnel. Own A/B testing strategies, execution, optimization analytics and dashboards. Deploy tools and technologies to effectively execute marketing strategy. Lead website development and launch. Assist with budget forecasting and tracking. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management or related field; MBA preferred. Twelve (12) to Fifteen (15) years of experience in digital marketing, with direct, hands-on experience in launching world class B2B brands and outstanding brand recognition. A true passion for design and stories, and a talent for bringing unexpected ideas to the table. A proven ability to apply design principles and manage creative work. Experienced with various customer acquisition tactics. An understanding of various production methods and the ability to identify appropriate processes for any job according to budget and scheduling parameters. Experienced in managing traditional and digital agencies. The ability to work independently in the face of complex assignments. Ability to derive key themes from highly complex and technical information. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and project management skills. Pay Rate: $106,849.00 – $170,958.00 We offer a fantastic total rewards package at Plug, and a brief summary is below: Base salary is determined on a number of factors including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography.
