Visa is seeking a Vice President, Engineering of Digital Marketing Experiences in DPD organization to be the leader of a team of 75+ engineers building and managing technology capabilities for its global marketing organization. This individual will operate as a trusted advisor and strategic thought partner to the technology leadership team and our business stakeholders in Marketing organization.
The successful candidate will be comfortable navigating challenging forces in the dynamic payments space and working in a fast-paced environment while implementing strategies and processes that enable the organization to innovate and grow. This position will be based in Bangalore, India managing a global team located in multiple geographies including North America, Singapore and Bangalore.

As the leader of the DPD teams in Bangalore, you will foster collaboration across global marketing and technology organizations, providing sound analysis and change leadership. Building and maintaining strong internal customer relationships is essential, as this position will work with Business Partners, internal staff and system integrators on a daily basis to ensure delivery of quality products in alignment with global marketing and technology initiatives.
You will be responsible to build and manage a development team of approximately 75+ engineers focused on delivering consumer facing digital experiences for Visa and our clients. This team will own the engineering function for Visa’s digital front door i.e. Visa.com brand sites, authenticated portals, marketing promotions platform, marketing analytics and instrumentation etc. This role requires leadership skills focused on dealing with multiple stakeholders to understand their needs clearly and propose and build highly scalable, secure and reliable technical solutions to meet Visa and our clients’ needs. You will be responsible for establishing a culture of engineering excellence while maintaining a strong focus on security and operational excellence.
You will also manage a team of contingent resources working with external strategic Visa technology partners. This engagement is foundational to our business acceleration strategy and represents a significant lever to scale DPD’s overall delivery capacity. You will guide the engagement and governance models and ensure deliverables meet quality and timeline requirements.
You will be responsible for hiring top talent to grow the local leadership team and to keep the organization highly engaged and motivated, delivering exceptional results. Your ability to work across functions and teams will need to ensure alignment of priorities and goals, driving for desired business outcomes and fostering the right culture and the right environment to achieve excellence and innovation.
