In an interaction with Sujata Sangwan of BWDisrupt, Sheeraz Saeed, Founder, Websters, shares journey of his venture.
How was Websters started?
I was interning with a company when I realized that I wanted to start something of my very own. Cashing on my technical knowledge, I started off with WEBSTERS in the year 2011 at a very small-scale, wherein I commenced with Website Development and Social Media services only. Since then, Websters has successfully bootstrapped and established itself as the leading social media digital marketing provider in the Middle East region enabling leading brands like Zee TV, Zee Cinema and TOIFA to create a presence from scratch and scale it further through digital engagement. We now plan to grab the user base in India following the same pattern and aim to carve-a-niche for ourselves with our unique marketing solutions.
The company provides a range of dedicated social media services along with other digital assistance such as website design, app development, graphic designing, branding and related solutions personalized to individual client needs.

We have seen an year by year growth of the company since inception. The growth has been tremendous where we have almost doubled our revenue each year.
Future plans
Our main aim with Websters is to grab the Indian market in the same way as we have already done for the Middle East. Our aim is to be the biggest Digital marketing agency in the region and provide the most unique Digital marketing solution to our clients.
Our plan is to grow constantly and consistently. We want to acquire more clients with the existing services and additionally planning to concentrate more on content monetization and video marketing. As a whole, we want to focus more on content delivery to clients. We believe content in form of video or images or even blogs play a very important role and we want to increase focus in this direction.
Market size
With a detailed array of services we provide, every service has its own market size independently in India. So if we look at the whole picture along with the exponentially growing Indian market, we have an endless potential client base eligible to be tapped in.
Challenges faced
Matching up and eyeing ahead of the rapidly-evolving digital landscape proves to be one of the biggest challenges for the digital agencies in India. Along with that the small players in the market who give out same services as we do in a lot cheaper price, but not being able to match up to our quality diminish the standard of the market, which makes it hard for us as a digital agency to combat.
